Technological displacement is displacing all the business activities into information oriented or information based activities. Internationalization has the great contribution in the fundamental changes which took place all over the world. In fact due to internationalization a revolution has been introduce globally. Due to the web there is availability of extended opportunities for Malaysian customer and small & medium enterprises (SME‟s). There is a need of an orderly frame work, due to limited research on the role of internet in international marketing. In order to have the better understanding to the role of internet in international marketing strategy, it is needed to examine the purpose for which SME‟s use the internet in the international marketing context(Shanker & Meyer, 2009). This paper will be providing a significant contribution in the development of internationalization process among Malaysian SME's. This paper will also help Malaysian SME's to improve their internationalization strategies in contrast with the electronic commerce

    A study on customer interface satisfaction by using TAM and SERVQUAL dimension on the use of technology job search website in Malaysia: A case study

    Nowadays, many companies have been using their websites to share job opportunities with job seekers.This paper aims to provide further explanation about the customer interface satisfaction on the use of job search website in Malaysia using technology acceptance model (TAM) and service quality (SERVQUAL) in the case of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) students. Furthermore, the conceptual framework which the researcher attempts to operate in this study includes TAM, SERVQUAL and Customer Satisfaction. More than 100 surveys in both questionnaires and online surveys were distributed to UUM final year students who have used job search website. The result of this study revealed significant relationships between TAM, SERVQUAL and interface satisfactions of job search websites

    Environmental Stewardship Issue among Malaysian Manufacturing Firms

    Since the fourth industrial revolution is embryonic also known as the automation and machine era, the issue of industrial waste and pollution have become more pressing. This is because manufacturing firms are known to have the highest pollution. It has made the issues of environmental stewardship vital for both developing and developed countries. However, the implementation of the concept of environmental stewardship differs from country to country and from one manufacturing firm to another. Notwithstanding, this issue is vital for the human environment. Therefore, this paper investigated the issue of environmental stewardship among Malaysian manufacturing firms. Data were collected from 104 manufacturing firms of various production types. The findings of this study revealed that environmental stewardship culture among Malaysian manufacturing firms is low. Thus, the study identified 18 strategic steps to improve environmental stewardship culture among Malaysian manufacturing firms. These identified strategies will contribute to ensuring sustainable manufacturing practices through which industries can improve the manufacturing practices in order to offset the negativity on the environment

    The selection of the present information system project is difficult because of the many factors that influence it. Information system project should pay attention to the user acceptance, technology and the environment in terms of their influence on the information system project selection.The purpose of this paper is to determine how much influence user acceptance, technology and the environment have on the information system project selection.This research uses data obtained from several ministries and analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Models).The results found that the technology and the environment affects user acceptance. Moreover, technology and environment affect the effectiveness of the information systems project selection through the mediating effect of user acceptance. User acceptance, tested by the incorporation of usefulness and ease of use, the results are more modest and in line with previous theories. Furthermore, the external environment highly impacts the information system project selection

    The impact of environmental dynamism on strategic outsourcing success

    Adapting quickly to environmental dynamism is essential for an organization to develop outsourcing strategic and management in order to sustain competitive advantage.This research used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) tool to investigate the factors influence of environmental dynamism on the strategic outsourcing success among electrical and electronic manufacturing industries in outsourcing management.Statistical results confirm that the inclusion of customer demand, technological change, and competition level as a new combination concept of environmental dynamism has positively affects outsourcing success. Additionally, this research demonstrates the acceptability of PLS-SEM as a statistical analysis to furnish a better understanding of environmental dynamism in outsourcing management in Malaysia vividly. A practical finding is contributed for academics and practitioners in the field of outsourcing management

    In today’s dynamic business environment, the competition is no longer between firms, but between supply chains to gain competitive advantages.Its nature changed the business environment not only sensitive to tangible resources, but also intangible resources. The trends have made industrial practitioners pay special attention to the concept of relational capabilities as a critical factor in improving supply chain performance.The motivation of this study is derived from the concept of relational capability, which includes a supplier partnership, customer relationship, information sharing, and information quality in supply chain management to achieve reliable, responsive, agile, and cost effective supply chain performance in the textile and apparel industry.Textile and apparel industry has a remarkable position as a confident industry, starting with the supplier of the processing of raw materials to the delivery of completed products to the end user, with impressive value added at each process.Obviously, textile and apparel provide necessary protection and image for people, thus it is one of the most basic necessities for human being. Current supply chain environment accentuated the necessity for relational capability to smooth en the supply chain management. The power of relational capability in managing the supply chain gains attention from researchers and practitioners, because the business benefits from enhanced organizations’ supply chain performance.Hence, this study provides a unique conceptual diagram expected to aid researchers and practitioners to create a more comprehensive understanding of the linkages between relational capability and supply chain performance.     Global Supply Chain Capabilities in Malaysian Textile and Apparel Industry

    In todays dynamic business environment, the competition is no more between firms; however, between supply chains to gain competitive advantages. This leads to global supply chain. In the global supply chains, the potential of global supply chain capabilities for growth is very promising. Despite the incredible expansion of the industry, particularly Malaysian textile and apparel supply chain, there has been relatively a handful academic study that looked specifically in the area of global supply chain capabilities and performance. This resulting in very little attention has been paid to the power of global supply chain capabilities by researchers and practitioners. This study is derived from the concept of resource based view in supply chain management. This study aims to investigate the relationship between global supply chain capabilities and supply chain performance in Malaysian textile and apparel industry. By thorough reviewing the supply chain management literatures, this study found that there is a relationship between global supply chain capabilities, namely relational capability, technological capability, and organizational culture capability, and supply chain performance. From the underpinning theory and thorough literature review of the study area, this study provides a unique theoretical framework intended to aid researchers and practitioners to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the linkages between global supply chain capabilities and supply chain performance
